Cutera Titan Laser Non-Surgical Facelift
The Cutera Titan is a non-surgical treatment to lift and tighten the skin, stimulate the growth of new collagen, and improve skin tone. The results are less visible folds, fine lines and wrinkles, and reduced pore size. It has been dubbed as the non-surgical facelift and does not leave any bruises or scars.
The Titan system uses a device that generates a safe, infrared light wavelength of 1,100 to 1,800 nanometers (nm) to heat the dermis under the surface of your skin. It can be used on your face, neck, stomach, arms and other parts of your body. This non-surgical procedure has also been shown to diminish the appearance of cellulite.

How the Titan Anti-aging Treatment works
Before the treatment session, the skin to be treated is subjected to pre-cooling by the device. During the actual session, the Titan device emits an infrared light to heat up the dermis beneath the surface of your skin up to a depth of 2.5 millimeters. The heating causes the collagen to contract immediately, which results in tightening of the skin. The surface of the skin is protected from the heat through the uninterrupted cooling applied by the device's hand piece.
You will feel some brief and mild heating sensation during the treatment. The physician can give you a mild pain reliever before the treatment so you can be more comfortable during the session.
After the treatment, there is more firming and tightening of your skin because of more growth of collagen, thereby resulting in the correction and repair of the folds, fine lines and wrinkles. There will also be some mild swelling and redness in the treated areas, but they will usually disappear within a few hours.
